Bus driver Ben caused an accident in Spain in which five of his passengers died. Since then, the reticent man is burdened with a strong sense of guilt. His world is a silent nightmare in autumnal light. Even the unexpected friendship with the young repeated offender he meets during community service fails to cheer him up. Looking for deliverance from his demons, he goes to Sweden.
